Media Relations
There is no simple way to describe the contemporary media landscape other than to say it's constantly in flux. The marriage of television, print, radio, and online outlets is far from a happy union, as audiences are increasingly siloed off from each other, information distribution is decentralized, and the way people get their news and opinion content seems to change weekly. That means that a successful PR campaign needs to approach its goals and strategies nimbly and prepared to engage in any medium necessary to win. Check out this page for examples of how I have done just that.
National Broadcast TV & Radio
Let's be real. High-profile television and radio placements are not easy to come by, but are incredibly valuable to the success of any large scale communications strategy, marketing campaign, or advocacy goal. They require sustained relationship building, rapid response outreach with the right angle to the right people at the right time, and a deliberate and prolonged effort to establish your voice as the best one for a topic. Here's a sampling of just a few of the bookings I have secured for principals through a combination of all those things.
National Print and Online
A clip ain't just a clip anymore: with the print and online world increasingly noisy and increasingly crowded, the golden rule of real estate applies: location, location, location. That's not to say the biggest outlet is always the goal, but the one that's the right one for your target audience with framing for the story you want to tell. Below, please click around a small sample of the thousands of national media clips I have helped secure in the last few years. There are examples of feature pieces framed by long-term work and implemented with short-term outreach, rapid response efforts to breaking news in high-profile outlets, exclusives, and more.

Social Media Case STudies
An effective social media strategy means the difference between talking to yourself or interacting with the people you actually want to reach. There’s no denying that the topics that break through on social media are those chased by the rest of the media, amplified by other influential voices, and heard by decision makers. So, rapid, creative content doesn’t just mean surfing the waves of trends: it can present your brand and your message in a new context to a new audience, lift up essential elements of your campaign to new heights, or even launch a new movement.
Below, you can click through a few images offering brief case studies on successful social media engagement that I have helped lead. They vary in character from rapid response efforts, offline engagement used to create compelling online content, and the launch of new campaigns and new accounts - and all helped create earned media attention while elevating long-term campaign and branding goals.
